Installing Ruby 1.9.3 on Mac OS X 10.7 Lion

First, make sure you ran the XCode installer that was downloaded from the AppStore. Then run the Mac OS X 10.7 gcc installer

Check that gcc-4.2 is listed

$ ls /usr/bin | grep gcc
gcc
gcc-4.2
i686-apple-darwin11-gcc-4.2.1
i686-apple-darwin11-llvm-gcc-4.2
llvm-gcc
llvm-gcc-4.2

Install Ruby 1.9.3 Success!!

$ rvm install 1.9.3
